What is Arduino?
Arduino is an open source hardware and software platform which can be used to develop interactive microcontroller-based applications. It wraps up all the messy details about using a microcontroller and makes application development as simple as ABC! and because it's open source, there is a huge community of people who are using it for projects and developing it for fun!
